Frequently asked questions
How long does a Bitcoin payment take to confirm?
A new block is mined roughly every 10 minutes, and Zypher credits a payment after 2 confirmations, so most payments are credited within 20 to 30 minutes. The customer sees the status update live on the payment page.
What if the customer sends Bitcoin with a very low fee?
The transfer may take longer to confirm. A payment that arrives shortly after the invoice expires is still matched to it, and the late or partial status is shown in your dashboard so you can resolve it.
Can I receive BTC and keep the money in another coin?
Yes. Turn on auto-convert in the store settings and every incoming BTC payment is swapped into the coin you choose, for example USDT, right after it is credited.
Can I price my products in dollars and still accept BTC?
Yes. Create the invoice in USD, EUR or another currency. When the customer chooses BTC, the amount to pay is calculated at the current rate and fixed on the invoice.
